The Staffordshire Fireworks Extravaganza will return to Staffordshire County Showground on Sunday 1 November, with organisers confirming that ticket prices have been frozen for 2026.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Stafford Castle, the annual event attracts around 5,000 people and has raised more than £100,000 for charities, community organisations and good causes since it began.
More than £100,000 raised for good causes
The Fireworks Extravaganza has supported a wide range of organisations across Stafford and the surrounding area, including Katharine House Hospice, Staffordshire Women’s Aid, Midlands Air Ambulance, Samaritans, St John Ambulance and Stafford Street Pastors.
Other beneficiaries have included Cerebral Palsy Mid Staffordshire, the Stafford and District Stroke Club, Parkinson’s UK Stafford Branch, local food banks and several schools.
Money raised has helped fund hospice care, bereavement support, cancer and dementia services, assistance for vulnerable children and adults, and practical projects within local communities.
Richard Mitcherson, organiser of the Fireworks Extravaganza, said the event had raised more than £100,000 for charities, community groups and good causes, many of them in Stafford and the surrounding area.
He said ticket prices had been frozen despite rising costs to help keep the event affordable for local families while continuing to raise funds for the organisations supported by the Rotary Club.

Fireworks, funfair and food
This year’s event will feature a professional fireworks display staged by Pyro 2000, the company behind previous Fireworks Extravaganzas.
Visitors can also expect a children’s funfair and a selection of food and drink stalls, with the gates opening at 4pm ahead of the main fireworks display at 7pm.
Around 5,000 people are expected to attend, and organisers have confirmed that dedicated parking teams, disabled parking and floodlighting across the parking areas will be provided.
Arrangements will also be in place to help visitors leave the Showground safely following the display, including temporarily opening the road to allow pedestrians to use both the tunnel and road crossing.
