Business leaders, investors, and local government officials will gather in Stafford next month to discuss regional economic development and major growth opportunities.

The Invest Staffordshire breakfast will take place on Tuesday 17 November 2026 at The Octagon, Beaconside, Stafford. The event is hosted jointly by business publisher Insider Media and the Staffordshire Investment Agency.

The conference will focus on expanding foreign direct investment (FDI) into Staffordshire, with panel discussions targeting growth across three core sectors: advanced manufacturing, logistics, and defence.

Focus on multi-million pound developments

Discussions during the morning will centre on several nationally significant commercial schemes currently underway across the county, including:

  • The £1bn West Midlands Interchange, currently being developed as Europe’s largest logistics site.
  • The £500m Ceramic Matrix Composites manufacturing hub.
  • Chatterley Park, an £80m strategic commercial and employment site.

The event aims to bring together senior decision-makers from business, property development, finance, and local authorities to address development barriers and explore future supply chain opportunities.

Council vision for high-value jobs

Robin Hall, Staffordshire County Council Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills, is scheduled as a keynote speaker at the event.

Speaking ahead of the summit, Councillor Hall said: “Staffordshire has the businesses, skills and ambition to attract major investment. Our job is to turn that potential into better jobs, stronger local businesses and more opportunities for our residents.

“We cannot afford to stand still. This event is about bringing decision-makers together, understanding what businesses need and tackling the barriers that hold investment back. I want investors to see Staffordshire as a place where they can build, grow and get things done.”

The morning will feature presentations, panel debates, and networking opportunities focusing on the projects shaping Staffordshire’s regional economy. Places can be booked in advance via the Insider Media website.
