House of Bread Stafford has announced that its Director, Will Morris, will retire from his role in March 2027 after many years supporting people experiencing homelessness, hardship and vulnerability across the area.
The Stafford charity said Will’s leadership, compassion and commitment have played a major part in shaping House of Bread and helping it support thousands of people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

House of Bread provides support to people experiencing homelessness and other forms of hardship, offering practical help alongside meals, accommodation and opportunities for social connection.
Announcing Will’s forthcoming retirement, the charity described him as a passionate advocate for people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability and thanked him for his contribution to both House of Bread and the wider Stafford community.
The organisation said his work has helped thousands of people access not only practical assistance, but also friendship, dignity, compassion and hope.
‘An enormous privilege’
Reflecting on his time leading the charity, Will said: “My years at the helm of House of Bread have been an enormous privilege. I have seen first-hand the difference this charity can make for people experiencing some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives.”
Although Will will remain in his position until March 2027, House of Bread said there will be opportunities over the coming months to celebrate his contribution to the organisation and the community.
In its announcement, the charity thanked him for his leadership, compassion, faith and for supporting people when they needed help most.
It added that while his retirement would mark the end of an important chapter for House of Bread, his legacy would remain a significant part of the charity’s story.

Will is due to retire from his role as Director in March 2027.
House of Bread has not included details in its announcement about who will succeed him or how the leadership transition will be handled.
