Five free dementia support appointments are currently available at Nationwide Building Society in Stafford, following strong demand for previous sessions.

The appointments are being offered through a partnership between Nationwide and Dementia UK, giving people affected by dementia an opportunity to speak privately with a specialist Admiral Nurse.

Previous Stafford clinics have been fully booked, and the latest sessions will take place on Tuesday 20 and Thursday 22 October 2026.

What support is available?

Each appointment lasts approximately 45 minutes and provides confidential, one-to-one support from a specialist dementia nurse.

The sessions are open to people living with dementia, those concerned about a possible diagnosis, and family members or carers supporting someone affected by the condition.

Visitors can discuss a range of concerns, including understanding symptoms, changes in behaviour, coping with everyday challenges, planning for the future and accessing additional support.

The appointments also provide an opportunity for people to talk about the emotional impact of dementia and receive advice tailored to their individual circumstances.

A formal dementia diagnosis is not required to attend, and people are welcome to bring a family member, friend or carer with them.
